Under the direction of the governor and General Assembly, the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission on Tuesday released its report on research and recommendations for improving treatment and supervision of juveniles convicted of sex offenses.
The 150-page document will soon be passing over the desks of lawmakers as well as judges and attorneys around the state, curious of what kind of changes in the law may be planned.
