Juvenile Reentry Initiative – Issue Brief from Chapin Hall

From 2012 to 2015, the Illinois Juvenile Justice Commission supported a three year pilot of comprehensive reentry services for youth exiting DJJ. The pilot served several communities in Chicago and the Metro-East region outside St. Louis. As the program entered its third year, Chapin Hall completed a process evaluation of the program. The resulting Issue Brief – “Beyond Service Provision” – identifies implications of the pilot for the aftercare system.
